Department of Laproscopic Surgery
The Department headed by Dr.Suresh MS and Dr.S.M Bhat MS Mch
perform various Laproscopic Surgeries routinely, some of them being:
- Appendicectomy (Removal of Appendix)
- Cholecystectomy (Removal of Gall Bladder)
- Hysterectomy (Removal of Uterus)
- Myomectomy (Removal of tumor from uterus)
- Repair of hernia in adult and children.
- Diagnostic laparoscopy to find out cause for chronic abdominal pain, infertility etc.

| Apart from laparoscopic surgeries complicated open surgeries are also performed regularly.The department has started diagnostic endoscopy recently This sophisticated equipment is very useful for diagnosing peptic ulcer, cancer of food pipe and stomach, cause for upper gastrointestinal bleeding etc.

The laparoscopy and endoscopy units are fully digitalized. Patients can have the C.D’s of their surgery if they wish.
